(1) Measure of angle RST = 90º does not imply that RSTV is a rectangle.
So, (1) is NOT SUFFICIENT.

(2) Measure of angle TVR = 90º does not imply that RSTV is a rectangle.
So, (2) is NOT SUFFICIENT.

Combining (1) & (2) also we cannot conclude that RSTV is a rectangle, as it can also be a square. So, given information is NOT SUFFICIENT.
The correct answer is (E).
I feel the answer should be C. Can anyone explain why it is E?

You might have picked C, having they provided :LSTV or LSRV = 90

but all squares are rectangles. the sum of the other 2 angles will be 360-90-90=180. the only option would be to have all angles as 90. if opp sides are equal in length we still need not have a square but ofcourse a rectangle. hence C should be correct.

This can be also the case but here the quadrilateral is not a rectangle.
