All even inequalities are positive. Therefore, the question is asking is m positive or m>0
Statement 1: sufficient, if m is greater than an even inequality, then it is positive.
Statement 2: Sufficient: t^-4 is the same thing as 1/t^4 which will be a positive fraction. Therefore, m is positive.
