Where to get started?

I'm going to be taking the GMAT at the end of May or first week of June. I don't know where i should be to get starte.d I picked up the offical GMAT study guides, including the vocab and quantitative review. I haven't really sat down to either guide yet, but just looking at the math sections, It's like I forgot how to do a lot of the math. In college, I did very well in my calc class. I'm just worried with the 2 minute time frame for each question, that i won't have enough time to go through all the questions.

Are there any tips on where I should be to get started? I was thinking about paying $700 for a review course but i know I should be able to do it.

I just am unsure on how to get started. I'm also nervous that I cannot use a caculator on the test.

Take the free Princeton Review test. From the test, you'll know your weak areas in all the sections. Note those down and then get started on the OG. You could begin with your weak sections or go by the index in the book, that's up to you. Make a Study Plan that has you studying 2 sections a day, PS/SC/CR/DS/RC
MGMAT has a beautiful topic-wise breakup of the Qs in the OG, see if you can get your hands on that. Start a blog or a personal dairy where you can keep track of your progress.

Take a test every other week to gauge your progress and towards the end, take as many tests as you can. Spend time after the test working out where you went wrong and why. There is an error-tracker sheet on BtG, make extensive use of that.

Spend some time on BtG, going through the Qs asked. See if you can solve them and check out the different approaches provided. is their solution a faster/neater way than yours? Why/Why not?

Practice Practice Practice!!
