Dear Concerned
I am currently 28. I had done my bachelors in Information Technology. After graduation, I worked with IT MNCs as a developer for 31 months. I did my MBA from School of Management, IIT Bombay. After my post-graduation, I worked with a startup NBFC for 7 months as a Business Technology Representative Associate. I wasn't happy with the work given, as I always wanted a job which allowed me to use my analytical skills and challenge. I love number crunching.
During my MBA, I had grown interest in sales & marketing. I got a chance to work in the middle-east(Bahrain) with a MNC FMCG distributorship firm as a Section/Area Sales Manager. Its been 8 months working in the firm, and I am not quite happy with the work.
I want to move to an analytical career, as a Market Research Analyst, Business/Financial Analyst or preferably to a consulting role.
Is there any specific program/course which will allow me to switch careers? On second thoughts, would it be wise enough to go for a 2nd MBA or a MS with majors in analytics?
Regards
Deepankar
