Let's take each statement one by one.
1) LCM of x and 26 is 52.
We see that LCM = 52 = 2^2*13 and 26 = 2*13; thus, x can be either 2^2 = 4 or 2^2*13 = 52. No unique answer. Insufficient.
2) LCM of x and 10 is 20.
In the same way, x can be either 2 or 20. No unique answer. Insufficient.
(1) and (2) together
Only common value is x = 2. Sufficient.
The correct answer:
C
Hope this helps!
