Given the information, since every customer purchases only one item, in an hour 12 coffees, 3 candy bars and other products worth $15 were sold.

No. of customers who purchased coffee or bars = 12 + 3 = 15

Thus, 30 – 15 = 15 customers purchased other products worth $15

Total sales = 12*1.25 + 3*0.90 + 15 = 15 + 2.7 + 15 = $32.70

Average sales per customer = 32.70/30 = $1.09

Correct answer: A

Hope this helps!

Solution:

The total revenue of the gas station per hour is 12 x 1.25 + 3 x 0.90 + 15 = $32.70. Since there are 30 customers per hour, the average sales amount per customer is 32.70/30 = $1.09.
