Since there are 52 weeks in a year, a 1 year-long print subscription in 2004 cost 4 x 52 = $208. However, a 1 year-long print subscription in 2005 cost 3 x 40 + 2 x (52 - 40) = 120 + 24 = $144. Therefore, a 1 year-long print subscription in 2005 cost 208 - 144 = $64 less than that in 2004.
