from X to Y/To X from Y

from X to Y/To X from Y

1.The sales of mercedes benz rose from 1 million in 2001 to 10 million in 2002
2.The sales of mercedes benz rose to 10 million in 2002 from 1 million in 2001.

I guess in first sentence from X to Y usage is correct .But in 2nd sentence can anyone pls explain me whether to X from Y is correct .If correct can you please explain with some examples .

I feel both are correct and as far example is concerned i feel your sentence is very much correct

Both are okay for me
First take: 640 (50M, 27V) - RC needs 300% improvement
