Is it
{A}
?
{A} - CORRECT
{B} - INCORRECT; parallelism issue -- we need verb with "its sales"
{C} - INCORRECT; "its" singular doesn't go with plural "many new restaurants"
{D} - INCORRECT; "having .." is referring "the restaurant company's sales"
{E} - INCORRECT; "having" gives a false meaning...

I agree with your take on the incorrect options, but doesn't the 'its' in 'its sales have...' bring about some ambiguity with respect to its usage for the restaurant company or the many new restaurants?
Thanks,
Bharat.

Hello Bharat,
No, there is no ambiguity since "many new restaurants" is plural & "restaurant company" is singular.. and the sentence uses possessive "its" that is used to refer to singular subject.

A is the correct answer, although I marked C while doing this question in GMAT Prep.
Now, the solution is clear.
