desperate for help.

by gointobeready » Fri Jun 17, 2011 2:53 pm
I started this process in 08. Took the MGMAT course and bombed the test. Fizzled out on 09. Started again in 11. Took MGMAT course again. 7 of 9 courses done and took second practice test and went down 40 points to 530. What am I doing wrong? Someone please help. I think I am missing something extremely obvious.

A few things here:

1. 3 years is too long for you to sustain this. People have known to be driven up the wall after 3 months - so I appreciate your stick-to-it-iveness. However this is not a good thing. Why did you keep dragging it without addressing the problem? But goo0d news is that you are making an effort now :)

2. You mentioned about taking the MGMAT course - did you talk to the support staff to check if they could help you analyze? If you can post the analysis here then we can take it forward by providing some specific help.

3. From your end please provide a synopsis of where you think you went wrong? Are a poor standardized test-taker? If so then it might make sense to lower your goals and be realistic in what you want to expect.

Hope this helps,
