Although improved efficiency in converting, demand will be stimulated.

Which one is better?
Also "it" in first sentence modifies what?
both are incorrect,
Although introduce a clause, so verb is must.

Pick A

B. In converting harvested trees into wood products may reduce harvest rates, demand will be stimulated because of increasing supply and lowering prices, which boost.

Passive voice is used. Unclear reference of "Which".

C. Of converting harvested trees into wood products may reduce harvest rates, it will stimulate demand by increasing supply and lowering prices, which boosts

"prepositional error"(" of "instead of "in"). Unclear refrence of "which". "boosts" is singular preceded by "compound" subject.

D. Of harvested trees being converted into wood products may reduce harvest rates, it will stimulate demand, because it will increase supply and lower prices, thereby boosting.

Awkward Sentence construction. USage of "being" shoule be way easy to eliminate..

E. When harvested trees are converted into wood products may reduce harvest rates, demand will be stimulated because of increasing supply and lowering prices, which boost.

Passive voice construction.

Pick A for clear meaning. "it" refers back only to "efficiency". Efficiency is singular and "it " refers back to singular subject/noun.

Will go with A.

the gmat will tolerate pronoun ambiguity when both of the following are satisfied:
1. the intended referent makes much more sense than do the other possible referents,
and
2. the intended referent is PARALLEL TO THE PRONOUN, and the other possible referents are NOT parallel to the pronoun.

A. Intended referent for "it" is efficiency. It makes much sense.

B. "Which" refers to "lowering prices". Infact it should refer to the idea of "stimulation of demand" in previous clause.

C. "Improved Efficiency of converting" is wrong. agian "which" issue.

D."Improved Efficiency of harvested trees" is wrong. REst of the sentenc elooks awkward.

E. "when" is used to indicate time. "which" issue again.

Hope this helps!!
