Bio undergrad + 7 yrs in sales, want to do an MBA in Finance

I graduated from UT Dallas in 2010 with a B.S. in Molecular Biology (GPA 3.56). I have since been working in corporate sales abroad (outside US). Recently I started reading some books on investment and balance sheet analysis and really started to like finance. I would really like to pursue an MBA in Finance in a US school. Is it an issue that I do not have any actual finance experience? What kind of a job can I expect to get after getting the MBA? Where can I get more information on this?

Also would a healthcare MBA be appropriate for my background?

I am quite confident that I can get a high GMAT score. Please advice.

What you ACTUALLY want to do and how you should strategize your application can sometimes differ. Here I would suggest you do NOT write the story about you wanting to go into finance, because the schools will have an ABUNDANCE of people with a TON of finance experience, who will be applying, and you just won't match up to them. On the other hand going with marketing/bus dev/healthcare will activate your past work experience in a very effective way and come across as logical and plausible to the AdCom, so it seems to me to make more sense to take that path.
