Hi,
I'm from Australia and it would be my dream to attend a top business school in the USA.
Im 30 years old. My undergraduate scores are average at best. I had no idea "what I wanted to be when i grew up" and only attended university because I felt I had to - so my attention was not focused on my work. But that was 8 years ago.
Since university I've founded, developed and run a multi million dollar production and distribution business. However, I have done this on my own and do not have any experience with any big firms that I can put on my resume.
There's nothing more that I would love than to go back to university, further my knowledge and apply it to my business.
I know that if I study hard and put a lot of energy into the GMAT, I will be able to break 700.
But my question is: Is this enough? Is getting a decent GMAT score enough to make up for my university grades? Or will months of vigorous study just be a waste of time?
I realise that some schools are already out of the question for me but is it too ridiculous to aim for a top 20?
Please let me know.
Thanks
