schools to send free score to

by deephoenix » Sun Nov 20, 2011 10:35 pm
Hi

I need help deciding which (5 free) schools to shortlist for sending my GMAT score to. I will take the GMAT in December 2011. Following is a synopsis of my profile -

- I have a masters in advertising and marketing management from a well known school in India.
- have around 7 years experience (sales and business development) with media organizations in India and non-profit organization in USA.
- am expecting a score of atleast 700 in GMAT (going by practice test performances)
- want to get into a b-school and major in marketing
- financial aids/ scholarships wil be a big PLUS

any suggestions/ insights will be valuable.

Thanks
Deeps

Well, you gotta send them to the schools you are interested in. We can't make that choice for you good sir.
But maybe you can help us out and then we can advise:
What kind of program are you looking for? Do you have a preference for the US/Europe? Big programs/Small programs? Case study/action based? in a big city/small town?

Let us know,a nd we can get back to you with some advice.

PS you can always report to more schools later on, if you need.

Hi,

The best way to choose a B school is based on career goals. You need to see if the schools will help you realising those goals. Apart from that factors like what the school specializes in, geography location including urban/rural factor, size of classes in school (big class or small class), alumni success rate. Also you need to keep in consideration what recruiters tend to come on campus. You can talk to alumni's and career center wings to know further the opportunities the school provides you. If you can get a score of 700 plus then you can aim for top schools.
Keep the above criteria and select a school what fits these criteria the best. All the best :)
