b is the product of 3 consecutive integers.

Note: The product 3 consecutive integers is always divisible by 6.

Statement 1: b is a multiple of 8. So, b is multiple of both 6 and 8. LCM of 6 and 8 is 24. Thus, b is a multiple of 24. Sufficient. \(\Large{\color{green}\checkmark}\)

Statement 2: c is odd. let c be 23. So, b = 23*24*25. the answer is yes. let c be 3. b = 3*4*5. The answer is no. NOT sufficient. \(\Large{\color{red}\chi}\)

The correct answer is __A__.
