Let a be the multiple of the ratio.

1. \(2a-a=5 \Longrightarrow a=5\)

\(w+x=a+2a=3a=3(5)=15\). Sufficient \(\Large{\color{green}\checkmark}\)


2. \(3y-2w=35\)
\(9a-2a=35\)
\(a=5\)

\(w+x=3a=15\). Sufficient \(\Large{\color{green}\checkmark}\)
