(1) The tenths digit of 10d is 7.

Say 10d = 0.7xyz; thus, d = 0.7xyz/10 = 0.07xyz

We see that the hundredths digit of d is 7, greater than 5. The answer is yes. Sufficient.

(2) The thousandths digit of d/10 is 7.

Say d/10 = 0.007xyz; thus, d = 0.07xyz

We see that the hundredths digit of d is 7, greater than 5. The answer is yes. Sufficient.

The correct answer: D

Hope this helps!
