Length of the base of the triangle = x-intercept of the line = -a/8
Length of the height of the triangle = y-intercept of the line = a

So, area of the triangle = |-a/8|*|a/2| = a²/16

So, a²/16 > 1
So, a² > 16
So, either a > 4 or a < -4

shouldnt be a^2 < -16

What wrong you did ? Negative area doesnt mean any sense.
So it should be a2 > 16 only ?? Whats the answer
