Let's take each statement one by one.

(1) The sides of Q have the same length.

A parallelogram with equal sides, as well as a square, satisfy this condition. Insufficient.

(2) The diagonals of Q have the same length

A trapezium, as well as a square, satisfy this condition. Insufficient.

(1) and (2) together

Only square can have all sides equal and both diagonals equal. Sufficient.

The correct answer: C
