OA is E

the only exception is when number of cows =number of goats=number of lions.

so CANNOT be determined from the given statements.

That's tricky. I guessed C until I read the OA.

All cows are lions and all lions are goats.
all cows are goats.

But that does not mean all goats are cows.

If there are 100 cows, then there are 100 lions and then there are 100 goats.

But if there's 103 goats, then only 100 cows are goats, but there are 3 goats that aren't cows. Or if there are 100 goats, then they equal 100 cows. This makes both together insufficient.
