Most top accounting programs only have Summer/Fall admissions.

In midwest, i would definitely consider Notre Dame, University of Michigan,
Univeristy of illinois, Northern Illinois, Miami University (Ohio), Michigan state, Indiana University - Bloomington, Ohio State, Wisconsin, ....


However, many of these schools won't give you MS in Accounting degree if you don't take certain amount of credits at their school. If you already started your 5th year and you want to transfer those credits, there might be an issue there.

I know I'm a little late chiming in here, but for what it's worth:

1. School prestige matters very little in accounting. I'd recommend you think about where you want to live after graduation and apply to schools there. For example, you're likely better off going to U of Illinois - Chicago than Ohio State, even though OSU is more highly ranked. Recruiting will be much easier if you're in the area.

2. The above is a good list of programs in the upper Midwest. Michigan, Notre Dame, and UIUC are probably the best programs in the region, followed by Indiana, Wisconsion, Michigan State, and the other big public schools. Assuming you want to be in Chicago, a good list of schools might be UIUC, UIC, NIU, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Indiana, and Iowa.

3. You have a strong profile, considering you went to a top accounting undergrad and have a strong GMAT score. Apply to a bunch of schools, but I'm pretty confident you'll have some good offers.
