Work Experience vs. MS

by bezrshashm » Mon Mar 04, 2013 4:23 pm
I graduated about 2 years ago with a bs/ba, minor in psych with a 3.75 gpa.
took GMAT, i knew material cold, -messed up on timing= 520, 4.5-AWA essay.

I had about 6 months part time SUPPLY CHAIN/LOGISTICS work experience following my Undergrad.

and I have been involved in other personal unrelated studies the past year.

To get full-time work is not so conducive for about another year, due to personal reasons.

Pushing it, perhaps, i can work out to apply for part, maybe Full time Work experience now, OR should I pursue a M.S. in supply chain/log which would work out much better as I am involved really in some personal stuff.

unless the pros argue, because i really don't have full time w.e. - i assume I should pursue-M.S. ???

thx for the time and effort and advice.

In my opinion this really depends on what exactly you want to do in your future job. Work experience is mostly a big plus, though an M.S could be as well. If it were management courses, I would say work experience is more important. However, in your case I would choose to do an MS. If it appears to be absolutely necessary, you could still get work experience afterwards.

Good luck!
