a and d Expert advise

by alltimeacheiver » Fri Aug 26, 2011 6:59 am
One of the informants eventually professed ignorant of crime, having fear that his testimony would lead to reprrisals against him by his former confederates.

a ignorant of crime, having

d ignorance of crime, for

vertically d is right because of ignorance but what is the mistake of having and for. we can use haviing for possesion too. Like I have a car after 10 years in job.

Pls little throw some comment on having and for case.
Noone else will do it. Only I will do it. No Matter how difficult is my dream. Those who think can only achieve it.!!!

I can't explain why having is wrong but what I have read on the forum till date is that usage of having in GMAT should be avoided.

Please underline the part of the argument under study.
This would help us to save a lot of time and avoid confusion.
