Confused between A and B. B is wordy by repeating "begin",

Pick A.

My pick is B.
in A if you eliminate "or already has" says may begun,which is ungrammatical.

IMO B
may begin is the correct use. I think Brevity is required but not at the cost of grammatical error.

'May begin, or already has begun' is correct.

You are right. OA is B
