eski,

If you read the sentence and understand it - it seems to indicate a contrast.

Gender diversity in leadership is linked to better financial performance....... companies take few actions

But seems relevant here.

The grammar rule with and (part of the FANBOYS) is that there needs to exist parallelism.

Therefore the sentence could also state.

A majority of executives believe that gender diversity in leadership is linked to better financial performance and that companies take few actions to support women in the workforce.

But the meaning of the sentence will change. Now it means that a majority of executives believe both gender diversity.... and that companies take few actions.

Eski,

But - It should indicate a contrast and be parallel.
And - It should be parallel. The important thing with this is that and joins 2 independent clauses. Therefore there should be a comma before and as well.
