Round 1 - GMAT (1) - ME (0)

by surajsagi » Thu Jul 31, 2008 10:58 pm
I had planned to give me my GMAT on 8th of this month. However after giving few of the practice exams. I realized that i was not there as of yet and needed more time (felt defeated after 3 months of preparation)

Plus the whole GMAT is so intimidating that i felt i need to do more, u read new approaches every day and want to try new things to improve your score and u face bottleneck and feel more time will help remove it.

My original plan was to get a score of 700+, but now since i have moved my date by one month and I have time to work on my weak area's. So, i am targeting a 750+ now (wish me luck :-))

Someone mentioned this earlier in his blog earlier also. Take your own time and give the exam when fully prepared, dont let your time be influenced by people who take few days to get a good score.

Each one of has his own set of competencies and weakness areas. And at the end of the day, its the score that matters and not in how much time u took to prepare

The whole idea is be confident when u enter into the room that u have given it your all and nothing more could have been done (irrespective of 15 days or 6months)

Thanks, SM
