Low gmat score--

by naveenk » Tue Jul 13, 2010 3:40 am
Apologies if I post in wrong forum.. I didn't found any forum for low scores(may be I missed it).. :(

I just wrote my gmat exam and ended up a low gmat score (640).

Gmat Prep 1: 720
Gmat Prep 2: 680 ----> my last 10/13 verbal q were wrong as missed out time.

Verbal percentile
Mgmat 1: 62%
Mgmat 2: 69%
Mgmat 3: 67%
Mgmat 4: 77%
Mgmat 5: 72%
Mgmat 6: 77%.

All the tests are taken in timed conditions.

Final Gmat Verbal percentile: 47%. ------Never got in any practice tests..

I even got bold faced question on questoin no. 40. During exam I felt I am doing better, but ended up worst.. I don't know what to do and how its scoring algorithm..

Usually, I heard that bold faced questions appear only for 700+.....

Sorry to hear about your score a 640 is not a bad score, but trust me I understand where you're coming from... and yes you've posted in the correct forum!
