Probability & Combinatorics

Hello,
I'm not good with probablity and combinatorics at all and I'm wondering whether it would be a good idea to skip it for the test. I haven't seen many questions from these 2 topics in the OG books.

Any thoughts.

Hi adigmat2013,

I've sent you a message with some additional info that you'll find handy, but the short answer to your question is this:

Permutations, Combinations and Probability questions represent some of the rarer subjects on the GMAT. You'll probably see 1 of each, but you could see more depending on how well you're doing in the Quant. Since other categories show up more often, your time is better spent studying the BIG categories and getting all of those available points. Avoiding the categories altogether isn't a great idea, but if your study time is limited, then it's best to spend that time on the subjects that have the greatest impact on your Quant Scaled Score.
