M.P.Ed. programme is a 2 year Post Graduate teacher training program approved by NCTE. The degree equips students to hold positions as faculty in higher education, fitness trainers, sports trainers, sports journalists, commentators and sports marketing managers .
The eligibility criteria is - Pass with 50% aggregate marks in B.P.Ed. or B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUPET.
Note: Medical Fitness Certificate (as per university prescribed format) is Compulsory.
You need to qualify LPUPET test for admission and you can apply for test from admission.lpu.in. The Physical Efficiency Test will include the following:
50 meters sprint
Standing Broad Jump
Over head back throw {Medicine ball Men (3 Kg.) & Women (2 Kg.)}
1000 meters run/walk.
You must bring your own sports kit for appearing in Physical efficiency test, without which you will not be eligible for the test.
