GMAT

by jgalapatt » Sun Feb 01, 2009 10:22 pm
Hi,

I have no job experience(I passed out from the college in 2005).
I have done masters degree in computer science with 3.5 GPA. What are the chances for me to get into a good business school like Berkeley, If I have a GMAT score 710?

Which is a better idea?
Apply to the schools
or
Search for a job and get the job experience which may add value to my application.

Thank You

Dear jgalapatt,

I think work experience would be helpful for you. Gaining admission to a top 10 MBA program is highly competitive--a GMAT score, alone, will not result in an offer of admission. Having some solid professional experiences demonstrating your leadership potential are what will distinguish you from the rest of the applicant pool.

Good luck,
Lisa
