Since the distance is rounded to 290, its max and min value could be 295 and 285 respt.
Similarly, the max and in value of gasoline used could be 12.5 and 11.5 gallons.
So, the range of miles per gallons should be between 285/12.5 to 295/11.5.
Hence, D is the answer.
