Rescheduling Gmat

Hello all,

Less than a week from today I have my Gmat. In the past 30 days I've been working overtime and didn't get a chance to study for Gmat. I thought of rescheduling and totally forgot about it. Now that I don't have a chance to reschedule, I plan to take the test even though I am not fully prepared. I plan to take the test in the next 45 days again. My question: Is it OK if I take the test without full preparation and take it again next month?Are there any disadvantages? Please suggest.

Hi Vijay,

Since, it is just less than a week for your exam, you will forfeit the amount you paid for the exam.Since you don't have any other choice now,i recommend you to take the exam to get a feel of it (anyways you are not going to get your 250$ back).
Do not cancel the scores if you feel that you made it ( I prefer to see my scores to see how well did i perform on the real GMAT. This helps you to identify your weak areas), else you have an option to cancel your scores.

Take the experience. Go for it. Going through the exam experience will help you a lot, if you need to take the test again. Lot of people score less in the exam due to first time blues.

study hard... even if its just a few days away...
think of it as a GREAT chance at a "practice" test which will be SO close to real life !! :)

No real disadvantage...schools will look at your highest score. A lot of people take the test twice.
