I never expected I would get such a high score in TOEFL!
anyway, my biggest observation:
TOEFL needs a lot of patience. Especially the reading section. I scored a 28.
when doing the reading section be a little patient. take a 10 to 20 seconds break between the passages.
The reading is not tough at all. The questions are pretty direct. So remember you have a good chance!
Speaking: I got a 29.
There are many videos on YouTube which can help you practice speaking. Do them. Will really help. Speaking needs a little practice. Especially because you are not supposed to repeat what you heard. You are supposed to paraphrase it.
Listening: 30.
I had absolutely no problem with listening. The conversations I heard were pretty slow and easy to understand. For non native speakers, the accent maybe a problem to get used to. You will need to practice by listening then.
I used to watch a lot of TV shows like Friends, Big Bang Theory etc. so could pick up the accent quickly. I would suggest ppl who have problems with understanding accent to switch to HBO. Will help.
Writing: 30.
No problem here again. The idea is to plan your essay before you write it. I referred to RebeccaESL videos on YouTube. That is where I learnt how to structure my essay.
Do remember to carry something to eat. Especially chocolates during your break. The sugar rush will help you more than you expect it to!
All the best!
