Hi guys, I am totally upset, disappointed and I see my life in a distorting frame today….I need some assistance from you guys to help me shape my GMAT score.
I work as a Systems Engineer in a big IT consultancy firm in Australia. I don’t think so I need to talk about my work hours as many of the IT guys know how it is to work in IT industry.
I started studying GMAT about 5 months ago, I can’t say I was a very peculiar and disciplined allocating my time to GMAT studies but on an average I use to study about 2 hours on weekdays and about 4 -5 hours on weekend. When I took my GMATPrep for the first time without any studies I scored 490. But after I started preparing for GMAT my score subsequently went from 490 to the maximum of 750. The last five GMATPrep exams which I took before the real one I score about 700+ in each of them. And I took my GMAT yesterday and I scored 500.
I am very confused and upset on what went wrong there and what happened on that day. I was really hoping to get anything greater than 680. I never got 500, not even in my practise tests. I want to apply in top 20 universities and now I am not sure that should I go for another try. And evenif I score 700 in my second trial, will it make any difference??? Will university consider the difference of about 200 points???
Is there anyone who can help me getting over this dilemma?
Has anyone experience the same before????
I shall appreciate any comments or advice.
