Almost all school say that acceptance rates go down in the last round, but don't say by how much. At the same time, please realize that schools don't have last rounds for show or to torment applicants. Most schools use last rounds to ensure diversity in the class and to let in the truly stellar candidates who for whatever reason didn't apply earlier in the application cycle. Usually those who apply last round have a harder time time obtaining financial aid and cannot attend admit weekends. Furthermore, international applicants also have a much more difficult time getting visas arranged before class starts because they hear so much later.

As far as I know [urlhttps://www.accepted.com/mba/UVADarden.aspx]Darden[/url]'s acceptance rate also goes down during the last round. However, we have just scheduled an online chat with Sara Neher, Director of Admissions at Darden, for February 25. That tells me that Darden is still welcoming applicants for its March 4 round or she wouldn't want to take the time to do the chat.
