UNC online

by salb39 » Sun May 11, 2014 5:59 pm
Hi,
I have been admitted to the UNC Kenan-Flagler online mba program. I have more than 10 years work experience, and cannot attend a full time program since quitting my job is out of question. Wrote the GMAT and scored less than 650. Need your advice regarding what to do next. Should I attend a part time mba program from a lesser known university, or start with mba@unc. The reason I am in a dilemma is that, there are lot of negative opinions regarding online mba programs, so I am not sure what to do. Thanks in advance for all your response.

At the end of the day you have to decide if you want 1) a brand name or 2) the network. You are more likely to develop a network with a part time program because you will be interacting with people in person.

Both are valuable and what is best for you is up to you to decide.

Thanks a lot for your response.
In your opinion what are my chances if I go to a school like Rutgers to do a part time mba ?
