Astronomers studying the newly discovered star say that it provides clues about our galaxyï¿½s origin, that it may supply data about how fast our galaxy is expanding, and moreover it is perhaps the most distant star in the entire Milky Way.

I think the blue colored text is not part of correction; otherwise, I would have marked it incorrect ( comma before 'that' - not used generally )
IMO : E, I think to maintain ||ism, we need THAT
