Hi all,
Took the GMAT on Oct 1st and scored a 640 (Q48 V30). This was my 3rd attempt at the GMAT and frankly, i was pretty sure i was going to break the 700+ barrier. My practice scores were in the range of 690 - 730.
I'm also a student of the MGMAT Live 9 Session course (which was fabulous) and had religiously followed the MGMAT guides while practicing OG problems and creating over a 100+ flash cards to rectify my errors.
My quant score had jumped substantially from the last time, but the verbal was pretty much the same. With R1 deadlines around the corner, was wondering if i should give my all in the next 45 days for another 80 point increase or if i should apply with this score. But i do not wish to do the latter as it is evident my GMAT score does not fall within the middle 80% of these schools' GMAT range.
I read about a debrief in BTG where the guy had aced the GMAT in 2 weeks by crunching all the quant/verbal rules. I'm not sure how schools react to a fourth attempt, but iv improved 80 points within 3 months to get a 640. I'm sure i can do it again to pass the 700+. I'm no quitter, nor do i lack focus.
I'd like to know your thoughts on the above!

The idea is to give yourself a week, analyze, analyze, analyze before you come up with a plan.
