need help with GMAT prep and material

by rachealk » Wed Feb 18, 2009 10:49 am
hi,

I am referring to the below material.
OG 11
OG verbal and math review
Kaplan premier prog
Kalpan verbal and math review.
Kaplan 800
Princeton cracking the gmat.
og 10
manhattan sc (gotta guy it)

I have been preparing from these books, damn confused where i stand.
I have taken the prep test and noticed that in quant i do silly mistakes and
i especially suck in permutation and combination.
In verbal section,i loose concentration in rc and i need to work on my timing.

I need to know if the material above is enough :? !...also the problems in these books don seem very tough ,am kinda confused as to whether the difficulty of questions in GMAT exam will be the same as in these books ? or these books dont completely address the difficulty level.

You have a really good set of books to study from. You may be able to cast aside OG 10 if you have all the OG11 materials. If you'd like to see one example of how you can order these books in your studies, check out the GMAT Blog.

Also the best way to understand where you currently stand in the GMAT is to take one of the GMAT Prep tests from MBA.com. I recommend taking one right at the beginning of your prep and one right at the end. These are the best indicators of your GMAT performance since they feature real but retired GMAT questions, and are made from the makers of the GMAT.

Good luck!

The level of difficulty would be similar to the ones found in OGs!! Others would give you a good practice!!!
