Did you struggle with the entire verbal section, or one or two types of questions in particular? Is English your first language?

A very general answer is to read newspapers online everyday for at least 30 minutes, go over the Manhattan GMAT SC, and the Powerscore CR.ada3kor wrote:Hi,

Yes i struggled with the entire verbal. English is my first language.
I have now started with Manhattan SC and i see some improvement. Now that i know verbal is my weak area, should i concentrate more on verbal or quickly finish quant first and then handle verbal. ( background : i have just started my preparation, took the powerprep thats it )

Read a lot of difficult materials that are not something you would normally read. Science passages would be my weakness, so I started to read a lot of them.

there is a ton of material around this forum!
you can read articles from the newspaper, wsj, ft, etc
have you also think about taking some preparation course? I don't know your budget
but it can really help

Another source that might help you are the old LSAT tests- the RC and CR sections are tougher than what you'll see on the GMAT so it should help with your confidence and your reading ability
