Preparation Course / Self Preparation

by Bangaru » Wed Jan 28, 2009 5:15 am
Hi all,

I am planning to go for GMAT in the first half of 2010. I feel, I need to go for the best tutors to prepare for, so that I can have good idea to do it in more better way. Do I prepare first and then go for the sessions some where? Or will it be good to attend the classes first?
What can add more to the knowledge level which I possess?
please do let me know asap.

Any information can help me to decide...
Thanks

Personally, I always like it when students have done a little prep on their own before I meet with them. I especially like it when students have taken the time to refresh their math basics - simple algebra, geometry, mental math, etc. - before I meet with them. That way, we can focus on GMAT strategy rather than the nuts and bolts of math or grammar.

So yes, my advice is to get yourself an algebra workbook and start working through it to refresh your math skills. For verbal, I recommend that you start reading any well written material as much as possible.

Good luck!

Thanks Jim,

I will work for some time to get good control on the basic concepts first.
