Should I repeat practicing Official Guide

by asfaaizaz » Mon May 07, 2012 8:55 pm
Hi,
I have been preparing for quite sometime now, and took my first full fledged test on Sunday. I did not perform as well as I had hoped in Quants. (Total score was 700).

I have already finished practicing OG 12 Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency as well as the OG Quant Review 2nd Ed.

Is it a good idea to practice the same sample questions again?

Thanks

I would definitely recommend at least going through the ones that you answered incorrectly the first time. It can be surprising how often you'll make the same mistakes and get the same wrong answers, so redoing those problems can help you figure out any consistent errors that you need to fix.

Always glad to help :) I think it applies equally to verbal. So much of doing well on SC and CR is predicated on recognizing how the GMAT writers set things up. The more familiar we are with their tendencies, the easier it is to pick out the little things that can dictate what we need to do.
