Progress in practice exams, 570, yeah!

Hello. I wanted to share that I have seem improvement in my Kaplan GMAT CATs, finally :) I am retaking the Kaplan instructor led course, and am dedicating more time to a daily study habit. I wanted to take the GMAT this Spring, but a job transfer got in the way.

What was most encouraging was my recent breakthrough in verbal:

Percentile scores: 34Q/48V (520, Diagnostic), 34Q/43V (520), 46Q/40V,(560) to a 36Q/74V (570).

In reviewing the Verbal on the last CAT, I missed the 1st and 3rd problem, but was correct for the next 8, with the last to at a Hard level. I maintained Hard or some Med the rest of the test. The questions didn't seem much harder than prior CATs. As for the Quant on the last CAT, I totally blanked on the first 10 questions, getting only 3 correct.

I still have a long way to go until I feel satisfied with my score, i.e. 650+

Does anyone want to make a prediction where they think I'll be come offical test day, tentatively Nov 13th?

Cheers.

Dude.. those scores don't seem right... 74V?? Did you hack the scoring algorithm mainframe? And 46Q 40V would get almost 700.

However, looking at your verbal scores... it looks like you are on pace to get 820.

Just kidding with ya... please correct your scores b/c something doesn't jive. :) Keep at it... you are doing way better than me (I'm been half-assed studying for 3 months and REALLY studying the past 2 weeks).

Percentile. google "gmat percentile scale". If I added my best together it might be a 600. If I did 74% in both, i'd be at 640.

hope that helps

Ok, so you were listing them as percentiles? Anyways, keep at it... you are making good progress. I've been studying for 2 months overall and have received a high score of only 580 on the GMAT prep.
