Pay for the GMAT

by mundasingh123 » Fri Jul 08, 2011 9:02 am
Hi , People in India . Has anyone tried paying by ICICI Debit Card for the GMAT . For me pearsonvue says that my bank isnt allowing the transaction and i have gone nuts trying to get the bank authorities to work on the problem .
They suggest i make an FD to get a credit card
But MBA.com does explicitly say that i could pay with a debit card as well . Well, when paying for the gmat , i found that Debit and Credit card ask for the same information
That is
Card Number & CVV Number

Hmm.. Sorry, my post might not help you. I had a similar problem, but with ICICI credit card, when I was trying to pay for my sister's USMLE exam. So, I had to use another credit card. After my complaint, they rectified it and my older card is also working fine for international transactions now. This has to be resolved by the bank.
Cheers!

Well, That was Prometric and this was an year back. So, don't exactly remember the error. I just complained saying there was a problem with International transaction. I don't know if the bank guys have done anything but I was able to use it pretty soon. It's a shame that they are not able to solve your issue.
Cheers!
