Importance of School Name

by AC710 » Thu Jul 19, 2012 5:54 am
I am looking into Clemson, Loyola (MD), Salisbury (MD), University of Baltimore and James Madison. How important is the school name? Is it worth taking out the extra loans? Loyola and Clemson are much more expensive than the other schools, but since they aren't top tier, is it worth the extra debt?

The importance of the school name depends on what you want to do post-MBA. Many firms only recruit at certain schools. You should research which companies recruit at those 5 schools.
