Though option A signifies modifiers separated by 'and' , I was under the assumption that if 'that' modifier is mentioned for modifier1(distant relative), then the modifier2(closely resembles) should also be described using 'that'. Though, it is not the case in modifier2 for option A,it was mentioned as the correct answer.
Please suggest if my approach is correct
