Hi everyone, sorry for making you read this but I wil appreciate if you can help me I live in a very small comunity in Mexico and it is very tough for me to get on the right pad for my GMAT preparation please read my story and advice me...
Well my story is kind of long I took the GMAT back in March and I scored 580, I was totally depressed because I expected 600+ I didn-t need a greater score than that I was thinking to apply to BYU, however it was not enough. I took the GMAT MHT online course before my GMAT, it was very good but I would say that it is not a course that helped me to bring me over my 600 barrier. I know that most of the posts here are of very smart guys who have achieved above 650. I am not native so it is very difficult the verbal part and Word problems for me.
After been totally depressed I decided to attend another course in Mexico City this time on site; I have to say that I lived very far away from that city, about 800 Km, unfortunatedly there are neither many courses nor teachers outside Mexico City. I attended the on site course going by bus on friday night and then arriving to the course on saturday, then the same saturday coming back at night to be on sunday again on my home city (10 hrs by bus). I did that for 5 months imagine how tough it was but I thought that the course was worthed and eventually would bring results I was so nervous about the course because during the course we had very few practice tests, and the ones that we had , we received a crappy feedback from the instructors. I had already paid for the course in advance so I just kept going but at the end of the course guess what 420 on GMAT practice test!!!!
I had problems with timing, about implementing the "new techniques" and my Verbal score was worse than before I simply coudln´t see any splits on SC and CR was a mess, I did more practice tests with them but they charged a fee of 40 USD for every practice test. So finally in September after many months I decided to leave the stupid academy, the director of the keeps calling me and she is positive that I will improve with her method, however of all of my group, that was integrated by 12 people, no one got more than 420 after the course, my group might have not been representative but believe me they really were good people who really worked hard, but they didn't get results.
So... in September I was very dissapointed and my dreams to go to B-School started to be very far away...
I decided to make a plan to study and recover for the bad experience.
After one month of study I made the free test from Princeton Review here my stats

Well then I decided to study MHT SC Guide and CR Bible, Excelent books by the way, I also started the Kaplan Workbooks (both math an verbal) this was my score

CR was terrible but now I feel more confident, regarding RC I don-t know what to do I start to believe that I am dumb or something! here my last exam that I made yesterday

I am happy that I improved in math but I kind of saw some questions repeated but with data changed well...
So now I don-t know what to do I have been through some courses that didn-t help me, and it seems that I really suck in RC
Any suggestions from the profis would be appreciated... I am pretty much done with almost all resources, oh by the way I am also almost done with the OG 11 and the supplement reviews.
I am considering going for Knewton in January but not sure...
If you have any advice I would really appreciate it thank you guys
