How to pace the exam ?

Hello,

I had seen a post with information on how to pace the gmat exam, for eg, you have to be at 60 mins when you are done with 10 qns and so on for Quant and Verbal.

Can someone please give me that packing clock information.

15 minutes for the first 10 questions is a bit better than the average of 2 minutes, 1 second that you have on the Quant section or 1 minute, 53 seconds that you have on the Verbal section. However, since if you're getting these questions correct they should be easier than many of the later questions, it would make sense that you be able to do them, on average, more quickly.

Pacing is something you need to work at well ahead of time, though. By the time you get to the test, you should be confident and comfortable enough in your pace that you don't have to stress about it.

Something that you can do to make sure you are on pace is write this chart in the top corner of your page:

On the left is the question you are on. On the right is how much time you should have on your clock. This way it is easy to see if you are pacing correctly.
