Hey Mo,
In answer to your last question: yes, it's better to eliminate the 4 wrong answers. In fact, you have to. There's no other way to do SC. Seriously.
Also, while I totally respect all the effort you're making here, I think I'd be remiss if I didn't say that your time would likely be better spent studying than posting the results on here. Of course, if you have questions that come up, ask those. But copying your error log onto here might not be too helpful.
: )

If you can boil this down to the essence that would be great! You have lots of things posted here. No one is going to go through the whole thing - but if you say "wow it turns out I am really bad at this..." then we can offer some suggestions.
Tommy is right that sentence correction is always a process of elimination. That is something that I explained in this popular discussion "better not best in sentence correction." https://www.beatthegmat.com/sentence-cor ... 69595.html

It is definitely long and boring, and I do not expect most people to read it. It is my way of re-assessing my strategy. I do not expect responses; just looking for a way to organize my thoughts and add back to the forum.
Thanks for your responses,

Update (March 6th test):
"Realizing your weakness, and Capitalizing on it."
I am a native English speaker (a greater proportion of my life has been influenced by other native English speakers), so, I have always been satisfied with my application of the English language.
Unfortunately, the GMAT tests specific rules, which must be adhered to. There is no room for complacency.

Two weeks before test ---
I dedicated the bulk of the week to sentence correction.
Changes in my strategy:
1) Focusing more on answer explanations than on number of answers correct/incorrect (I spent two/three days (6-7 hours) working through the explanations of 25 sentence correction problems).
You MUST understand exactly what the explanations mean (NO SKIMMING); "A correct guess is as good as an incorrect answer"
2) Stop thinking that doing 100 Quantitative problems is studying.
3) Staying away from C.R. and R.C. (Unless it is YOUR weakness).
4) Continuing to take days off (No matter how close my exam is).
______________________________
Tomorrow (Wednesday 2/27 - one week before Official GMAT), I am taking my last practice CAT (GMAT Prep 2). I will treat it exactly how I plan on treating the actual GMAT.
My Target --- 760 (Q-50 V-45 (Somewhere near that breakdown)).
I will keep you updated...
Thanks for your time

Hello,
How should I approach the final week?
GMAT Prep 2: 730 (Q 49, V 40, I.R. 8)
Verbal - 9 Incorrect (5-S.C. 2-R.C. 2-C.R.)
I definitely had timing issues (15 questions w/ 15 minutes left) on the verbal section (I finished, however I got four of the last seven questions incorrect).
Sentence correction felt like a guessing game...

At 730? Just keep doing what you're doing!
Seriously, just review your practice tests, and don't get rusty. You're already in the zone!
