Essay Typo!

Amy-

I just found 3 typos in one of my Duke essays. They are stupid mistakes, like "fist" instead of "first" or having an extra preposition in a sentance. I have been kicking myself all weekend - will this kill my chances of getting in?

No, typos are not a deal breaker.

I think it's almost impossible to submit an absolutely perfect application. As long as your application wasn't riddled with mistakes, and it's still readable for the content I think you're fine. The most important aspect is content.
